Description

Pre-hung Double Iron Door made from high quality 12 gauge and solid steel scroll work. All doors are fully foam insulated including the frame and have a welded threshold built in. This door comes with a standard deadbolt, pull handles and magnetic bug screens. The operable glass allows you to keep the door closed and open the glass panel independently. Let that nice breeze in the house while keeping the bugs out. All doors have low-e, dual pane, tempered glass to increase the amount of insulation. Our doors are complete with all seals, weather stripping and are finished with a strong enamel based paint that will not rust or fade overtime.

HOW OUR PRODUCTS ARE MEASURED

Our sizes are measured from outside of jamb to outside of jamb. For example, a 72” x 96” door listed on our website means that 72” is the width from outside to outside of jamb (not the actual width size of the door) and 96” is the height from outside of jamb to bottom of the threshold (not the actual height of the door).

We recommend the rough opening be 1” wider and 1” taller than the door size ordered to give the installer enough room to comfortably position the jamb into place and make sure it is leveled.

JAMB/FRAME/THRESHOLD

The Jamb/Frame is included with every door and prehung.  The jamb is constructed with 12 gauge tube (above industry standard) and Polyurethane Foam Core is filled in the jamb and doors for greater insulation. A steel threshold is included and comes welded on the jamb.

HINGES

Steel Bullet hinges with grease fittings and copper crush washer come welded on the jamb and door. Each heavy duty hinge can hold up to 1000lbs which allows customers to comfortably open and close the doors.

WEATHER STRIPPING

Dual foam weather stripping is included and comes installed around the door frame as well as a bottom rubber door sweep.  Designs with operable glass will have dual sealing around the glass.  The purpose is to help reduce air infiltration and water penetration.  The dual sealing around the glass allows for weather stripping on both sides of the glass.
